Deciding to enter therapy can be a brave and important step in a person’s life. It is a decision that signifies strength, resilience, and integrity. Psychotherapy can be a useful tool in learning about yourself, coping with difficult emotions or symptoms, maintaining wellness, or uncovering new life perspectives. Each person’s process of healing and sustaining health is unique, and I hope to join each individual on the path to meeting their specific goals in a safe, comfortable, and autonomous space.
As a psychologist, my goal is to aid individuals, families, and communities in moving through difficult times toward contentment, happiness, and health. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on resilience, self-empowerment, and psychological freedom. Using an integrative, strengths-based approach which includes depth psychologies, liberation psychologies, goal setting, mindfulness, and exploring sociocultural issues (identity, family history, environment, life transitions, etc.), I hope to help alleviate suffering and provide a “push” through situations that feel stuck.
